PAECT Board of Directors 2012-2014 Nominees

The Board of Directors is PAECT’s governing body, whose primary interest is to establish policy, provide direction, and perform oversight. The Board's combined experience and dedication play an extremely important role in charting the future for educational technology leaders in Pennsylvania. The PAECT board consists of 12 members and is made up of six officers (President, Vice-President (President-Elect), Treasurer, Recording Secretary, Corresponding Secretary, and Immediate Past President) along with one regional director from each of the six regions in the state (Northeast, Northcentral, Northwest, Southwest, Southcentral, and Southeast).

All officers serve a two-year term and regional directors serve a four-year term with three regional director positions up for election every two years. The current President will assume role of Immediate Past President after elections and serve on the board for two years. All members in good standing may vote for each of the officers while regional candidates will be voted on by the members that are affiliated to their own region.  An (I) after a person’s name indicates that the person running is the incumbent office holder.  Click on each person’s name to learn more about each candidate. Voting will be held electronically starting January 9, 2012 and will conclude by January 14, 2012. An email will be sent to all members on how to complete the ballot.
