PAECT 2012 Awards Submission

PAECT is fortunate to have many great and talented individuals that represent our association.  
Our members help us connect, develop, lead and advocate for educational technology in Pennsylvania.  
One way that we show our recognition of the efforts accomplished by our members and friends is at the annual conference.  
This year’s awards banquet will be held February 14, 2012 at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center as a part of the PETE&C conference.  
Please review the various award categories and submit worthy individuals for consideration to Sean McDonough at seanmcd8@gmail.com by December 31, 2011.

Ero W. Davidson Award
Presented for outstanding accomplishment by a member in the field of communications in Pennsylvania

Mary C. Renner Achievement Award
Presented to honor an outstanding contribution by a member to the Association

PAECT Special Award
Presented to current, past, or non-members who have made a recent particular contribution to the field of communications

Friend of PAECT
Presented to a non-member for distinctive service to the Association

Pioneer Award
Presented for long and successful service in the field of communications to a present or past member

Paul W. Welliver Outstanding Student Award
Presented to a current or non-member graduate student in the field of communications and technology who has made a significant contribution to the profession

Outstanding Teacher and Leader of the Year

As an ISTE affiliate, PAECT nominates individuals from our state to be recognized for one of the ISTE OUTSTANDING TEACHER & LEADER AWARDS. These awards recognize and honor one leader and one teacher who have demonstrated outstanding achievement and leadership in implementing technology to improve education. Award recipients are selected from a pool of nominations submitted by ISTE Affiliates from around the world.
