Come enjoy a great dinner at Dawndi's located at Lucky Hills Golf Course, just outside of Franklin. We will have a PETE&C share out and a presentation by Matt Brooks and Brian Dorfner from Apple. They will be sharing Apple education's, Everyone can Create. The projects in the Everyone Can Create guides teach students to develop and communicate ideas through drawing, photography, video, and music. And they help ignite creativity by giving teachers fun and meaningful ways to bring these skills into any lesson, topic, or assignment.

Collaboration and learning is free. Dinner is pay on your own. Please register in advance.


STEAM SHOWCASE

STEAM Showcase will be held on

Saturday, March 30th, 2019 at the Meadville Area High school


10am to 2pm.

Bring your students to show off their projects and learning and check out the Robobots Competition being held in the gym.

Time: Registration will begin at 9:00am. Please do not arrive earlier than 8:45am since the RoboBots participants will be coming in until around then. Wrap-up and closing session with door prizes and certificates will be at 1:45. We ask that you plan to stay for the full time.


PRESENTATION AREA: A 6 foot table will be provided for your display. If you requested additional tables, those will be available as well. You may tape to the walls behind your table. There are also tack strips in the area behind your display. Please bring extension cords and power strips with you. Please label with your name.


WIFI: There is Wifi available.


LUNCH: A ticket is provided for lunch for each student, 1 teacher and 1 additional adult. Each ticket will provide a bag of chips, water or pop and a choice of one of the main food offerings- walking taco, pizza, sloppy joe or hot dog.


There are other concessions at the event where students can purchase additional food if you choose to allow it (candy etc).


Parents and others who attend with you can purchase food from the Booster Clubs in the cafeteria.


ROBOBOTS: the competition is free and your students are welcome to watch some of the matches. We just ask that there be someone at your display at all times.

Once a year we take time to recognize teachers, administrators, community members and others in the region who have gone the “Extra Mile” with educational technology.

Please join us at Nick's Place in Edinboro, PA to celebrate this years award winners.

The cost is $10 per person. Please register in advance so that we can make menu decisions and preparations. 

Nominations for the EMAs can be made at any time throughout the year. We welcome nominations from Technology Directors, District Administrators, community members and peers. Names should be submitted using the online submission form. More than one nomination from a district is acceptable. Please include all requested information. All submissions are due no later than Friday, April 5th, 2019.
