A Message from the President of PAECT
Hello to all of our amazing PAECT Members. As the incoming PAECT President, it is my privilege to welcome you to the 21st Annual PETE&C Conference. If you are like me, as the calendar clicks to a new year, your excitement grows because PETE&C is just around the corner. PAECT has been there from the beginning to help make this conference one of the premiere EdTech Conferences of the year.
PAECT has played a pivotal role in shaping this conference into a premier EdTech event, and I am grateful for the opportunity to lead as we continue this tradition. As we convene in the "sweetest place on earth," I encourage you to take a moment to connect with old friends, forge new connections, and fill your cup with inspiration.
Stepping into the Presidency of PAECT is a true honor. I am amazed at all of the work our organization does and how important our members are to this work. This year, the board has focused on Strategic Planning and I feel the strategic plan goes hand in hand with our core values of Connect, Develop, Lead, and Advocate. We will focus on keeping our members first with member benefits, continually maintaining fiscal balance with our partnerships and sponsors, and finally, making sure to continue board continuity and focus. At the heart of everything we do is our strong base of educator volunteers.
As the call for participation went out, I was excited to see who all was going to step up and help make PAECT the best organization it can be… the response was overwhelming! I am so impressed with all of the educators that are willing to offer up their valuable time to invest in Education Technology across the Commonwealth and beyond. This ultimately means that you are stepping up to help make the lives of all of the students that our organization reaches BETTER!
I look forward to the opportunity of working with you all in the future! Our organization is AMAZING because we have the BEST Membership base in the country!
