Join SCPAECT @ Katapult Labs on Monday October 1st!
We will be visiting Katapult Labs in Dillsburg, PA for a night of STEM & Makerspace conversation. SCPAECT will provide some finger food, our members provide the ideas & excitement!
KatapultLabs was started by Katapult Engineering with the intention to educate the community about making and because it gave us a reason to play with technologies and equipment that we were naturally passionate about.
We purchased the old Dillsburg Library and converted it to The Libratory - Our take on a makerspace and hub for local makers, educators and anyone interested in building their imaginations.
We soon realized that we could extend our definition of community beyond geographical limits and started sending MakeBoxes to educate and excite those unable to join us at the Libratory.
This will be a great night for educators from the surrounding area to share, brainstorm and discuss what they are doing in the classroom with other teachers and Katapult Engineers. We will also get a tour of the Katapult Libratory.
