Race of the Regions

How does this work?

• Register here on this PAECT website and pay your $25.
  
• Download the MoveSpring app. 
  
• Connect your device. Is my device compatible? 
  
• Within 48 hours, PAECT will send you a code to get started with MoveSpring. 
• Track your steps and compete against other regions and participants in your region.

When will the challenge start and end?

• The start of the Race of the Regions will start on January 7th, 2020 and end on February 18th, 2020.  

Are there prizes?

• Yes! Each region is competing for the Golden Shoe. This Golden Shoe will be presented to the region with the most steps tracked during the challenge at the PAECT Awards banquet at PETE&C. 

• We will also be awarding the person with the most steps from every region with an Amazon Gift card at the PAECT Awards banquet at PETE&C.

What if I don’t want to run?

• No problem! The app we are using tracks steps. You will naturally gain more steps faster if you choose to run. However, if you choose to track your typical walking throughout the day, that is also okay. 

How much is it to participate?

• $25. 

What is included in registration?

• Access to the MoveSpring app that tracks your number of steps. 

• Friendly competition among PAECT members.

• A soft-spun t-shirt with the Race of the Regions Logo.

• Eligibility to win the Amazon gift card if you walk/run the top number of steps in your region. 

  
  

  
  

  When will I pick up my t-shirt?

  • You can pick up your t-shirt at the PAECT booth at PETE&C or at a regional event. 

  • If you live out of state and are a premium member, we can work together to arrange shipping.
